So if you have your heart set on a 100% natural, one-of-a-kind slab of solid rock they won't help you there. But beyond that, the benefits are plenty.Quartz is manufactured using about 93% natural aggregates (color pigment and polymer resin make up the rest), so you're still getting a product that is predominately natural, versus solid surface which is 100% manmade.Quartz countertops are stronger than granite and nonporous, making them less likely to harbor bacteria. They're also highly resistant to both stains and scratches, do not require sealing and achieve a depth of color that closely matches that of granite. Price-wise, the two materials are comparable.Intrigued? Come by or give us a call to learn more.
