Source: TILE MagazineLEXINGTON, KY -- VitraArt stained glass is the newest collection of glass tile mosaics from Florida Tile."The latest addition to our popular glass tile line features a seven-color palette available in three shapes," said Florida Tile Marketing Director, Sean Cilona. "This product offering is quite a large statement. Our exclusive style of layered hot glass in a wide range of contemporary color blends was designed to coordinate across many of our products from stone to porcelain to ceramic.""Certainly, the hand-cut-style glass is unique in itself," Cilona went on to say. "But, combined with the three contemporary shapes in the VitraArt Stained Glass collection, it will be a challenge to choose just one for your next project."The colors, ranging from whites, grays, blacks and icy blues to bold earth tones, are called Alabastro, Arabescato, Calacatta, Carrara, Corallo, Paradiso and Pepperino. All are 12- x 12-inch, mesh-mounted mosaics. Each color is available in shapes that include 1- x 1-inch squares, a three-column random stack incorporating multi-width 4-inch strips, and a thin linear random-sized strip (RSP) pattern.Whether for backsplashes, accent walls, showers and baths, the VitraArt stained glass is durable, beautiful GREENGUARD certified and can be used for both residential and commercial wall installations.Simultaneous with the introduction of the stained glass collection, is the VitraArt Fusion line of glass tile mosaics featuring eight colors.According to Cilona, "VitraArt Fusion is produced in a format that is quickly becoming the most popular size in our mosaic line, a 12- x 12-inch RSP. We intended the VitraArt Fusion line to be a one-stop solution capable of coordinating with the entire breadth of our porcelain and stone product lines. The palette is a unique blend of tone-on- tone contrast with slight shots of color for truly unique installations to include backsplashes, accent walls, showers and baths."From a color perspective this line starts with four neutral tones in Ice, Sand, Clay and Plantation. For more bold accents in contemporary or commercial design spaces, the company developed four slightly contrasting, but complementary, color combinations in Carbon, Oxide, Rock and Erosion.VitraArt Fusion is both durable and sustainable as it is GREENGUARD certified, contains recycled content and can be used for both residential and commercial installations. (Recycled content of both lines varies from lot to lot.)
