Sometimes is seems like the only way to get the drastic results you want in your home is to start fresh. As in tear up, tear out, and begin anew. But this remodel, which we found on Suburban Bitches (via Apartment Therapy), proves that gorgeous updates can be made without all of the mess (and stress) of a full-blown gut and remodel.Before and after:
Upper cabinets were added to the top of the existing cabinets to fill-in space and provide additional storage, all of the cabinets were painted to soften the feel of the entire space, the subway backsplash was replaced with an eye-catching herringbone tile, granite countertops were replaced with a Macaubus White quartz, and new lighting was installed.Well done.
