Sixty-years in the making, family-owned flooring company honored
Operating as a family-owned business in Edmonds for over sixty years, Reliable Floor Coverings, Inc. was recently named the West coast’s Floorscapes Dealer of the Year for 2007.    The award is given out annually by Mohawk Industries, which distributes its flooring products to stores around the United States.    Edmonds-based Reliable Floor Coverings was one of the original stores of its kind in the Pacific Northwest.    With tough market conditions throughout 2007, the company managed to increase sales by 25 percent and more than doubled its production since 2006. Co-owner Kevin Columbro was in Phoenix earlier this month to accept the West Coast region award. "It’s an honor to be recognized as aregional Floorscaped Dealer of theYear" Columbro says.   "We’ve worked		hard to build trust between the consumer and our store, and we can feel confident in selling to our friends and neighbors."    The business is owned and operated by a father, son and daughter team.
